Amali’s Bike Ride fundraiser October 2017

To all our friends and family, we would like to say the HUGE THANK YOU ever!!
The “Ride for Amali” was fantastic !

50 fabulous riders gathered in Bright on Saturday evening  (7th October) , the most beautiful evening , to meet each other and enjoy a yummy BBQ together. Great fun but more fun was to come as 3 teams left Bright on Sunday morning……………..
at 7.15 am the riders heading to Beechworth and back (164km)
at 9.00 am riders heading to Myrtleford and back (60km)
and 9.30 a bunch of parents and their children rode all the way to Myrtleford (30km) including 4 year old Bryne who rode all the way!!
Mark & Tim (VicRoads) and David took the extra challenge to successfully ride the Tawonga Gap route as a fourth option.
Also, a big thank you to Susi, Sylvia and Kawabata family (VicRoads), who rode Lilydale trail on that day to raise fund for Amali.
Amazing  effort !
No injuries on any of the rides apart from a few swoops and pecks from a number of over zealous magpies!!!!

Thanks to everyone – those who made their way up to Bright , at their own cost, rode and raised money for Amali’s next trip to USA and those at home who supported us with donations and riders sponsors

We are leaving for Philadelphia this Thursday 19th and this trip would not be possible at all if it wasn’t for your generosity .

Once we know that you are joining us we will email ( or snail mail ) you the sponsorship forms.

(Last year some riders were sponsored per km while others were sponsored a fixed amount for doing the ride. Its up to you)
