Amali’s third visit to IAHP on 23 February 2017

Amali, Laura and Pradeep headed off to Philadelphia at the end of February, braving the USA winter to attend assessments at the Institute in Philadelphia. Once again Specialists were impressed at Amali’s progress, her tenacity and happy attitude to life.

After a week of assessments Amalis’ intensive daily program has been extended to help increase her balance and help her to begin learning to walk.
Amali has been assessed as having 100% comprehension and this is obvious as she understands everything we say and is quick to respond to questions and requests.
Amali was by far the youngest child attending the Institute this visit and we feel so fortunate that we were able to discover this Program and get Amali on track so early.
Next visit, ( in October,) we are hoping to see Amali well on her way to walking independently.
